|G.B. Gets New Laguna Examiner While Cambridge Selects New L.A. County Claims Manager|
By Pauline Grant - July 28, 2005
Lisa Tyson has just come aboard with Gallagher Bassett in Laguna Hills, California, as a workers' compensation claims examiner. Lisa worked for Ryder Services throughout most of the 1990s, then she worked for Frank Gates Service Company until 2002 when she joined AIG in Costa Mesa. So, now Lisa's working on the Quanta account with GB down in lovely Laguna Hills.
Anne Weinberg has just left Cambridge Integrated Services Group in Pasadena where she was working as the claims manager of the Los Angeles County unit for this past year. Now Anne has taken a liaison communication position with a broker called Bolton Company in Pasadena where she will act as their knowledge base for workers' compensation clients.
Ms. Weinberg, the former Anne Dorman, has been a workers' compensation claims manager since the late 1970s with ESIS, Certified Grocers, Adjustco, and Fremont Compensation Insurance Company. For most of the 1990s she acted as a consultant. Now, her former L.A. County claims manager position at Cambridge has been taken over by Alfred Wills, who formerly handled L.A. County files at Tristar, and prior to that handled the L.A. County Sheriff's Department at Firm Solutions. Throughout most of the 1990s, Alfred worked for Scott Wetzel Services.
The L.A. County contract is scheduled to end at Cambridge at the end of this current calendar year, 2005. The company said to be picking up the contract is AIMS owned by Leonard Russo and based out of San Francisco.
