| | A Shorter Commute Can Make A Nice Change By Lonce LaMon - September 21, 2009Laura Keith has just started her new position as a workers' compensation claims examiner at AIMS in Valencia, California. Laura was most recently an examiner with Sedgwick CMS in Van Nuys for five years (well, actually, she started there when it was still Octagon Risk Services) and handled the claims for the Betty Ford Center and Zenith Insurance.
In 1999 up until 2002, Laura was an examiner at Liberty Mutual and The Helmsman Management Services in Glendale, California. Then, she worked for Kemper Insurance and also Laughlin, Falbo, Levi & Moresi, a workers' compensation defense law firm.
Laura conveniently lives in Valencia, and is now enjoying the 5 minute commute and the convenience of going home for lunch to spend her lunch hour with her young daughter.

Terry Deschamps is now a Unit Manager at SCRMA (Southern California Risk Management Associates) in Orange, California. She has been in this position for less than a year, and as she says, she was a temp for 22 years before joining SCRMA as an examiner and then transitioning into her present Unit Manager position on the City of Orange account. Terry lives in Los Angeles and early on in her career worked at EBI in Santa Monica, California, "back in the day".
