By Pauline Grant - June 21, 2005Lee Schoetker is now working for ESIS (ACE-USA or whatever their name is) as their onsite claims representative at Lockheed Corporation in Palmdale. Lee has lived in Palmdale for more than a decade, and obviously has had to commute a great distance wherever he worked in a claims position, which most recently was at Octagon Risk Services in Van Nuys.
Lee Schoetker started in work comp claims in Fresno in the late 1960s, and became a claims supervisor for Industrial Indemnity and then by the 1970s, a claims manager at Mission Insurance Company. During the 80s he did management positions at Insurance Company of the West and Scott Wetzel Services, but then took up the 90s working in the San Fernando Valley at EBI along with his wife, Sue. Now, he's landed in the 21st Century with a job down the street from his home in Palmdale. Not bad...
Larry Novak is the new claims director, i.e. risk manager, at 99 Cent Only Stores in Commerce. Jose Tovar who just recently was the risk manager there, has left and gone nobody knows where...
