|Simi Valley Farmers' Has Some Claims Hiring Action Going On|
By Pauline Grant - April 20, 2005
David Stowe has accepted a Claims Supervisor position in Workers' Compensation claims at Farmers' Insurance Company, and is now working in the Farmers' Simi Valley, California, office.
David moved into this new Supervisor position from Von's-A Safeway Store in Arcadia, where he was also a Supervisor for about a year, or maybe a little longer, in their self-insured, self-administered claims department. Coincidentally, David started in claims in Arcadia at State Compensation Insurance Fund over two decades ago, and fulfilled his last position with SCIF as an Assistant Claims Manager in 1990. After that, he worked for nine years for California Indemnity in Burbank. So, here he is now at Farmers' in the beautiful Simi Valley...
Speaking of Farmers in Simi Valley, Brigitte Khani was working there just a few weeks ago as a temporary examiner. But, now Brigitte has landed a regular, full-time position as a Workers' Compensation claims examiner at The Zenith in Woodland Hills. Farmers' in Simi is still employing their two "permanent" temporary examiners, oldies but goodies: Raul De La Rocha and Helen Westlund.
