Crystal Johnson recently became in the late Spring of 2022 the managing attorney of the Law Offices of Stacey Tokunaga. A boutique workers' compensation defense firm based in Orange, California, the Stacey Tokunaga firm is also known as SLT Law.
Crystal is a veteran workers' compensation claims adjuster, hearing representative, and now a lawyer. She got her California state bar card in 2021 and her law education at Western States University College of Law. She attended undergraduate school nearby at Cal State Fullerton after previously attending UCLA.
She's a Los Angeles person born and raised. She started in insurance claims in the late 1980s at Allstate Insurance Company and soon moved to Industrial Indemnity where she handled workers' compensation. She from there worked at a number of third-party administrators and insurance carriers such as Pacific States Casualty, Specialty Risk Services, Gallagher Bassett, and Berkshire Hathaway. She even worked as a temporary adjuster at Tristar Risk Management in both Santa Ana and Alhambra.
Most recently, just before joining SLT Law, Crystal Johnson was with AIG for nine and a half years, first as a senior hearing representative and then as a staff counsel. Also, in 2019, she obtained her real estate sales license. She is presently affiliated with the Berkshire Hathaway real estate brokerage.
"When I retire, I want to do something part-time," Crystal commented.
