Jim Patricola has retired from the claims industry while as risk manager and claims manager of The City of Burbank, California. Jim had a thirty plus year career in claims handling and twenty plus years with the City of Burbank. Jo Anne Cook, out of the Human Resources Department at The City of Burbank, is taking over and learning Jim's role now and moving forward in his vacated position.
Yvonne Madrid was recently hired as a Claims Representative II at Southern California Edison Company in Rosemead, California. So. Cal. Edison is a self-insured, self-administered entity for California Workers' Compensation. Yvonne says she's never leaving and now gets 25% off her electric bill. She started in claims in the 1980s at Industrial Indemnity and recently was employed for the past six years as a work comp examiner at Intercare Insurance Services in Pasadena, California.
Kyle Fritzsinger, who recently resigned from GAB-Robins as Vice-President of Claims, will be starting next week with Cambridge Integrated Services Group in Pasadena, California, in an executive claims management position.
