An exclusive strategic partnering agreement has been signed between one of the nation's largest healthcare claims clearinghouse and claims management technology firms, The SSI Group, Inc. headquartered in Mobile, AL, and CompCare Group Inc. of Walnut Creek, CA.

The agreement, announced June 15, will create occupational health & workers' compensation solutions. CCG will exclusively provide ASP (application service provider) services to SSI's hospitals, employers, and payer customers. SSI's ClickONÔ CARE Product will be made available to CCG as a secure, web-enabled information system. CCG's complementary, turn-key products and services will enhance SSI’s service offering to its customer base.

In addition, CompCare Group’s hospital, health system and physician group customers will have the opportunity to obtain seamless, electronic submission for both WC and group health claims through its relationship with SSI, said Smith.
