The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) invites interested members of the public to participate in discussions regarding the electronic transmission of medical records and reports. The meeting will be held in Oakland at the following location and time:

Time:     10 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Place:    Elihu Harris State Office Building - Auditorium
              1515 Clay Street
              Oakland, CA 94612

DWC will facilitate discussion regarding ideas to electronically transmit medical records and reports, mandating electronic independent medical review (IMR) applications to help ensure injured workers are receiving timely and appropriate medical treatment, and reducing administrative costs and increasing efficiency.
