Melanie Louise Schodde, who was a judge at the Riverside Division of Workers’ Compensation office, passed away on Monday, November 12th, in her Riverside, California, home.
Melanie began her career as a workers’ compensation administrative law judge in 2006. She started in the Riverside district office, then later moved to the San Bernardino DWC office and then came back to the Riverside office in 2012.
She graduated from law school at Boalt Hall, UC Berkeley and did her undergraduate work at Stanford University. She was a certified legal specialist in workers’ compensation.
Prior to becoming a judge, Melanie Schodde was a partner in the law firm of Todd and Schodde; she was an applicants’ attorney.
