During yesterday's meeting, Lisa Middleton stepped down as Chair of the Commission in timely concert with her retirement from State Compensation Insurance Fund.  Lisa will retire soon from SCIF as Vice President of Special Investigations. 

The Fraud Assessment Commission enacted their bi-laws, giving specific direction and procedures including:

1. The purpose of the Commission.
2. Office of Chair and Vice Chair
3. How meetings are handled, scheduled, etc.
4. Election procedures

Immediately following the election of Don Marshall as Chair, John Riggs was asked if he would assume the role of Vice Chair of the Commission.  He agreed and was unanimously approved as Vice Chair of the Fraud Assessment Commission.

John Riggs is the Workers' Compensation Claims Manager of the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim.  Disneyland is self-insured and self-administered in California.  All comp claims are handled out of their administrative offices in Anaheim.
