Well, very recently I figured out that Helen Ching is the new claims manager of Octagon Risk Services in West Los Angeles, California.  Helen was formerly the claims manager of the Home Depot unit at Sedgwick CMS in Orange. 

And equally impressive... Rob Crawford, the Claims Manager of The Federated's claims department in Pasadena, California, has been promoted to Director of Workers' Compensation for Federated Department Stores and will be transferred back to Cincinnati, Ohio, to the corporate office early next year (2006). 

The astonishing news about The Federated's claims departments in California is that it has just been announced that the Pasadena claims department will be closed early next year, and everybody in claims at the Pasadena office will be transferred to the Redondo Beach office, which has been the Robinsons-May claims department, to date.  It was universally assumed that since The Federated bought Robinsons-May, that the existing Federated Claims Office in Pasadena would remain.  But, apparently due to space issues, it has been decided by The Federated's corporate officers to retain the Redondo Beach location and close the Pasadena location.

Jonathan Chang, a claims administrator at the City of Burbank, and well known Permanent Disability Rating instructor in California on the teaching circuit, has been voted Outstanding Popular Male Personality by the LGBT and honored at the December 1st  2005 WeHo (West Hollywood) Awards which took place at the world famous Hollywood Roosevelt hotel. 

Jonathan has been known to work a claim file and his social life all at the same time, and to do it well.  He has also been nicknamed "Socialite Extraordinare" and currently writes a web-column about social life in West Hollywood, California.
