| | The Claims World Comes Alive in 2005 By Pauline Grant - January 6, 2005It is a New Year, which means a new beginning for some. Shonda Acosta decided to leave CNA Insurance Company in 2004, and kick off 2005 as an examiner at REM in Brea. Scotty Benton is ringing in the New Year as the claims manager of Sedgwick in Riverside; he left Hazelrigg about two months ago and I couldn’t figure out where he went until now.
Mark Midget is working as a claims examiner at The City of Santa Monica. Mark comes from a claims background at Yasuda Fire & Marine, which is now Sompo Japan Insurance Company in downtown L.A.
Beverly Gales, who comes out of a long career with the Stockman Group, is no longer working at Von’s in Arcadia. She is working claims at Cambridge Integrated Services Group in Pasadena. Speaking of Cambridge in Pasadena, Pat Ebrahim, who had a long career there as an examiner and a supervisor, is now working as a temporary work comp examiner at Chubb Insurance Company in Downtown L.A.
With all the movement that went on in 2004, 2005 is bound to be a busy year as well.
