| | Holiday Season Doesn't Slow Claims Professionals' Job Moves By Pauline Grant - December 16, 2004Gail Connett, who had seemingly been working forever as a "permanent temp" at Zenith Insurance Company in Woodland Hills, is now handling files at Cambridge Integrated Services Group in Pasadena. Someone told me last week, "Guess what? Gail Connett is now working at Cambridge in Pasadena. She's no longer at Zenith." I was amused. So, right when you think nothing is ever going to happen with someone, something does happen...
Something also happened with Louise Mitchell, who seemed rather permanently a temporary examiner at Cambridge in Pasadena. She moved to Berkshire Hathaway in Pasadena where she is presently working a work comp case load as a senior examiner.
Raul De La Rocha has been handling the 99 Cent Stores account workers' compensation claims at Integrated Claims Administrators in Arcadia. But come January 3rd, 2005 he's moving closer to home in Simi Valley. He'll be handling a case load of work comp claims at Farmers Insurance Company on Cochran Street in Simi.
Gil Sanders has moved into the work comp claims department somewhere at Cambridge in Pasadena, just like Gail Connett, and has left her temp assignment at Mitsui Sumi Tomo Marine in Universal City. Sheila Cowan is now working Gil's former case load at Mitsui Sumi in Universal City and is therefore no longer a work comp examiner at Chubb Insurance Company in Downdown L.A.
So, all this is happening in spite of the holiday traffic and rush! Claims professionals keep working and moving in any season. :-)
