Tracy Calhoun promoted to Vice President of Training and Compliance at Intercare.

Dennis Greer, like many claims managers in limbo, is having a great time doing the limbo.  He's currently working as a temp adjuster at AIG in Costa Mesa.   Dennis was recently the claims manager of Atlantic Mutual in Orange, and prior to that had a management career with Unicare Insurance Company.  Remember them?

Luanne Dougherty is now the claims manager of Hazelrigg Risk Management in Oxnard.    Lucille Van Der Heyden, who just a second ago was the claims manager at Hazelrigg in Oxnard, has gone to the California Insurance Guarantee Association.   Also, Anne Wenning, who was working as an examiner for a short time at Hazelrigg in Oxnard is also no longer there.   People come and go so quickly in this business.   Is this the Wizard of Oz?

Sedgwick is continuing to boom in growth and is hiring everybody--or so it seems.   The Orange, California, office just hired Anita Arora as a senior claims examiner.  Anita was a supervisor with Risk Enterprise Management in Brea before their lay off.  Also at Sedgwick in Orange is Robert Kutzly, as a senior claims examiner.  Robert has been in Workers' Comp claims since back in the old days of Scott Wetzel Services.   Remember them?   

Maria Varko has been hired by Zenith Insurance Company in Woodland Hills as a Work Comp claims examiner.    I don't know where she's from, but I just heard she was hired there. 

Also, I heard today from Kim Layton, one of the supervisors at Risk Enterprise Management in Brea, that she's leaving there.   I don't know where she's going at all, but I did ask her and haven't gotten a response.   But, I do hope she has a jolly good time wherever she's going.
