| | Two New Claims Managers Hired In Southern California Workers' Comp Self-Insured Offices Of Single Employers By Lonce LaMon - September 5, 2010Kyle Fritzsinger is now the Claims Manager of the Alhambra, California, office of Tristar Risk Management. She is the manager in charge of the City of Los Angeles account for workers’ compensation claims administration; the Alhambra office of Tristar is dedicated exclusively to handling the City of L.A.
She started on September 1st.
Kyle will report to James Soto, who has been the Claims Manager of the City of L.A. account until Kyle’s recent hire to replace him. He will now be situated in Tristar’s Home Office location in Long Beach in a Vice President capacity.
Kyle was the Regional Claims Manager of Employers’ Insurance of Wausau from 1985 to 1991. Then for a couple of years she was the Regional Claims Manager of Cal Comp & Fire in Woodland Hills. From 1993 to 1999 she was the Branch Claims Manager and the Vice President of Claims of California Indemnity in Burbank. Then, the claims inventory of California Indemnity was sold to GAB Robins, and Kyle was the Vice President of Claims for GAB until 2008. For a short time she was Vice President of Claims at Cambridge Integrated Services Group until they were suddenly sold to Xchanging and the Pasadena office where she worked was closed. She then in 2009 became Statewide Director of Cannon Cochran Management Services in Irvine, California until 2010, just a couple of months before joining Tristar.
Mary Christiansen, after fifteen years with Employers’ Compensation Insurance Company, has been hired as a Claims Manager at Southern California Edison Company in Rosemead, California.
Mary started with Employers’ Compensation in 1995 as a Claims Supervisor; she worked in that capacity for ten years supervising a Unit of workers’ compensation claims adjusters and overseeing their claims inventory. She orchestrated the TPA conversion of Fremont Indemnity Company to CIGA in 2002. In the year 2005 she was promoted to Claims Manager and remained in that position until July of 2010.
Mary will start at Edison on September 13th.
