| | City of Burbank Hires New Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner
By Lonce LaMon - August 9, 2010Tracy Pierce is now a workers’ compensation claims examiner at the City of Burbank, a self-insured, self-administered city located, naturally, in Burbank, California.
Tracy joined the City of Burbank in a temporary capacity, but has now been hired by the City of Burbank as a regular employee starting today, August 9th 2010. She has another temporary examiner now working for her: Agnes Serrano.
Tracy worked as an examiner for Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Company from 2006 until 2009, up until that workers’ compensation claims department in Pasadena, California, closed and the entire department was laid off. Prior to Berkshire Hathaway, she worked for Gallagher Bassett, Octagon Risk Services, and ESIS.
Lyn Cavalcanti is now the VP of Claims at AIMS in Sacramento, California. Lyn was a long term claims manager at Bragg & Associates in Concord, California. Bragg & Associates is now York Insurance Services Group. York purchased Bragg & Associates in 2008.
