|At Adminsure It's Business As Usual|
By Pauline Grant - July 3, 2008
At Adminsure in Diamond Bar, it's business as usual. That's the current name of the Third Party Administrator that was started by Bernie Colen and Gary Lee back in the early 1980s and was called Colen & Lee. Bernie and Gary have now moved on to other life adventures, so today Alithia Vargas-Flores is the Vice-President of Claims overseeing the claims operation for Adminsure. Alithia was with Colen & Lee for more than a decade and worked her way up the ranks from an examiner.
Joyce Grant is the new workers' compensation claims supervisor at Gallagher Bassett in Laguna Hills, California. She just recently within the past several weeks replaced Fran Lewis who had left the position to return to her old alma mater: Specialty Risk Services (a company of The Hartford).
Also, Ernie Estrada is working as a senior claims examiner at Macy's in Redondo Beach, California. Ernie is an experienced supervisor who lives in Long Beach and just decided he wanted to handle some claims: so he took this work at Macy's as an examiner. Ernie is the past claims supervisor of NAICC (National American) that used to be in Dominguez Hills (remember that?) and very recently he was a supervisor at TriStar Risk Management Services in Long Beach.
So, that's what's happening! Have a happy and safe 4th of July!
