Dave Rumore is going to Risk Enterprise Management in Brea, California, as a Construction Defect Claims Supervisor, starting on November 29th 2007.
Dave has full multi-line experience with both the insured and self-insured arenas, along with extensive litigation experience. He worked in the late 1970s at Royal Globe as a general adjuster, and then as a multi-line adjuster moving up to Assistant Branch Manager with USF&G by 1980. Recently, in the 21st Century he has been the Regional Manager for Recon Services, A Third Party Administrator and Independent Adjusting Firm.
James Soto is now the Branch Manager for the new Tristar Risk Management Claims office handling the City of Los Angeles account in Alhambra, California. As has been well publicized, the City of Los Angeles workers' compensation claims administering contract has been terminated with Cambridge Integrated Services Group in Pasadena, California, and has moved to Tristar, who set up a new dedicated office for their new City of L.A. account. James was working for Cambridge on the City of L.A. account just a few weeks ago until he was hired by Tristar, starting in his new position last Monday, November 12th.
James worked for Cambridge for about a year, and prior to that was the Operations Manager for the Los Angeles Unified School District Account with Sedgwick CMS in Pasadena. His professional resume also includes Safeway Corporation, and goes back to his start in the insurance claims business at California Casualty in downtown Los Angeles in the 1970s.
