Crawford and Company picks up Wackenhut Correction Corporation (WCC), another large account, just a week after it announced new contractual arrangements with The Harford Financial Services Group and Royal & Sun Alliance.
As WCC’s primary claims administrator, Crawford will oversee the company’s auto, general liability and workers’ compensation claims.
“We are very excited to be chosen as the primary claims administrator for WCC,” said Grover L. Davis, Crawford chairman and CEO. “We look forward to building a long relationship with them.”
With 10,000 employees, the Florida based, WCC dominates 27 percent of the global market of privatized correctional management services.
The recent Crawford expansion only strengthens the company’s position as the world’s largest independent provider of claims management solutions. A byproduct of these new contracts that can’t be ignored is its generation of new claims related jobs.
