A 24-year-old Coachella man faces up to five years in prison for workers’ compensation fraud and insurance fraud. Michael Garza was arrested at his home Jan. 9 by investigators from the Department of Insurance’s Criminal Investigation Branch’s Fraud Division. Zenith Insurance paid nearly $29,000 to Garza and AAA Interinsurance Exchange paid approximately $8,000.
