2026 is here, and now it's back to work! By Lonce Lamonte - January 5, 2026
It’s the first workday of the new year. Here we are. Happy New Year!
Abundant blessings to everyone.
Best of luck to George Woolverton, attorney at law, who’s now the top executive lawyer at Woolverton Woolverton and Wolsey. This new firm name is a name change from Stockwell Harris Woolverton and Fox, of which George was the latest president. He made this name change just in October of 2025.
He celebrated 25 years with the firm before he changed its name. He saw the time was right and created an LLP, deciding to forgo being a corporation. The firm naturally still practices workers’ compensation defense, but now has added divorce law.
A goal at Woolverton Woolverton and Wolsey is to revolutionize and evolve their technology.
George spent these last few days of the holiday season in Mammoth. Check out the view from his house.
Jorge Alexandria continues to be vice president of workers’ compensation for the J. Morey Company. They get their clients workers’ compensation insurance, business liability insurance, and personal lines policies.
Jorge’s son, Abraham Alexandria, now works at the same family company under the name Noguchi & Associates. He is a claims manager.
Jeff Kindig just got promoted already at this new job with Cal Optima. He’s been there for just about six months and he’s already moved up. He’s now Senior Manager, Office of Compliance.
Jeff was a successful SIU (Special Investigations Unit) investigator at Sedgwick for a number of years. He investigated many of the serious workers’ compensation fraud cases that made their way into the courts.
Now let’s see what happens in the world and who does what in 2026.
