Woolverton Woolverton & Wolsey open new offices in Los Angeles. This firm name is a name change from the Stockwell firm.

Much remains the same but with renewed energy. Attorney George Woolverton just moved into his new offices around November 16th 2025 at 3415 Sepulveda Boulevard, Suite 1260, in Los Angeles, California 90034.
He also has a new firm name in Woolverton Woolverton & Wolsey. His former name was Stockwell Harris Woolverton & Fox, and that office for many years was at 3580 Wilshire Boulevard on the 19th floor in Los Angeles 90010.
The legal services are essentially the same with workers’ compensation defense, subrogation, civil liability defense and employment and labor law. But one new ambition is to evolve the technology. That’s part of the energy that’s coming along with the new firm’s name.
George Woolverton believes in being a team player. His firm members join together with their clients to handle cases as a team.
There are nine firm partners now in Los Angeles. Before there was only one, and that was George (and this was a result of tragic losses of the passing of two of his partners over the last few years).
Additionally, the firm is now practicing divorce law.
Paul Wolsey
The other offices in the state of California remain. They are in Fresno, the Inland Empire, Oakland, Orange, Sacramento, San Luis Obispo, San Diego, and Ventura.
The two other name partners are Paul Wolsey and Matthew Woolverton.
Paul is the managing partner of the Orange office. He attended the University of California Hastings College of Law where he got his J.D. degree in 2003. He joined the firm on January 1, 2006. Matthew is the son of George and attended law school at the University of West Los Angeles. He received his J.D. degree in 2007 and joined the firm in 2008.

Matthew Woolverton
George attended law school at Southwestern University School of Law. He started his career as a lawyer at Zonni Ginnochio and Taylor and then later joined the Stockwell firm.
Then the day came for George when he felt it was time to retire the Stockwell name. Eugene Stockwell’s name was in the firm’s name in different variations with different partners dating back nearly 70 years. So, it was time to hit the springboard and put the Woolverton name up front.

George Woolverton has prodigious energy and ambition. He keeps himself in impressively good trim with his sports and travels. He loves snow skiing, scuba diving, and sailing together with learning about the world. He recently went to Croatia on the Eastern Mediterranean seaboard.
