|  | California Division of Workers' Compensation Posts Reminder for the Return-To-Work Supplemental Program (RTWSP) Application Requirements By Lonce Lamonte, adjustercom editor using DWC Newsline's News Release Dated April 15, 2025 - April 15, 2025The Division of Workers' Compensation today provided a reminder of application requirements for the Return To Work Supplement Program (RTWSP)
The California Code of Regulations, title 8, Section 17306 requires the RTWSP application to be made on the electronic form on the Department of Industrial Relations website and shall include a declaration under penalty of perjury that the information provided is true and correct. The application shall contain the individual's first name, last name, and middle name, Social Security number of tax ID number, address, telephone number and email address, if available, and the ADJ number of any workers' compensation cases filed by the individual, and the individual shall submit a .pdf or .tiff of the Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit (SJDB) Voucher as an attachment to the application. The application shall indicate whether the individual is a California resident or a non-resident.
In accordance the California Code of Regulations, title 8, Section 17306, applications that do not meet these requirements will be denied.
Recommended best practices for applications are:
*Triple check all information before submission
*Only submit one application for each claim
*Ensure that all documentation is attached to the application
*Confirm injured worker's name, current address, and contact information is on the application and matches on all documentation.
