California Division of Workers' Compensation Posts Additional Adjustments to Official Medical Fee Schedule (Physician Services / Non-Physician Practitioner Services) By Lonce Lamonte and California DWC Newsline - February 17, 2022
The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) has posted an order adjusting the Official Medical Fee Schedule (OMFS) to conform to changes in the Medicare payment system as required by Labor Code section 5307.1.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has issued a revised version of the National Correct Coding Initiative Procedure to Procedure Edits (PTP Edits) files. The additional DWC update order adopts the revised PTP Edits files for services rendered on or after February 15, 2022. In addition, the order adopts the routine monthly update of the fees for physician-administered drugs.
