Workers Compensation Bill 2024: One percent of employee’s salary to contribute to workers’ compensation fund in Kenya.

The Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) has posted an order adjusting the Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, Orthotics and Supplies (DMEPOS) section of the Official Medical Fee Schedule to conform to the changes in the Medicare payment system as required by Labor Code section 5307.1.

The order, which is effective for services on or after October 1, 2021, adopts the Medicare DMEPOS fee schedule fourth quarter release for calendar year 2021. The DMEPOS and rural ZIP code files have been modified. Medicare did not make revisions to the parenteral and enteral nutrition file.

The order adopting the updated OMFS DMEPOS fee schedule can be found on the DWC’s DMEPOS fee schedule web page.
