Acquisition Will Establish TRISTAR Risk Management as One of the Largest Privately Held Third Party Claims Administrators in the United States

LOS ANGELES - August 16, 2002 - TRISTAR Insurance Group, (http://www.tristarrisk.com), a leading provider of professional claims and risk management services, today announced the acquisition of EOS Claims Services, Inc. (EOSCS), from Employer & Occupational Services Group, Inc. and its parent, Health Net Inc. EOSCS, formerly known as FIRM Solutions, is one the largest third party claims administrators in the western United States. EOSCS will be consolidated into TRISTAR Risk Management. Combined, the organization will have more than 350 employees located in offices throughout the western United States, establishing TRISTAR as one of the largest privately held third party claims administrators in the country.
