With the COVID-19 pandemic challenge not going away in the world, the USA, and exacerbating in California, The Travelers Institute today announced the launch of a new webinar series. It delivers practical advice on managing business risks and supporting employees in today’s challenging environment.
The Travelers Institute is the public policy division of The Travelers Companies, Inc.
The series will cover topics such as helping employees manage stress and anxiety, small business liability issues, adapting to changes after the pandemic and the economic outlook. Programs are free and open to the public.
“The pandemic has had a far-reaching effect on both businesses and individuals, and it continues to create new challenges while exacerbating existing ones,” said Joan Woodward, President of the Travelers Institute and Executive Vice President of Public Policy at Travelers. “Through candid conversations with a variety of thought leaders, we want our audience to gain valuable perspectives that will help them make the best decisions for their employees, customers, family members and friends.”
The series, entitled Wednesdays with Woodward, will begin with “Emotional and Social Reintegration in the Age of COVID-19,” which will take place on July 22, at 1 p.m. ET. The webinar will feature a discussion between Woodward and Dr. Marcos Iglesias, Chief Medical Director at Travelers, about the ways business leaders can support the physical and mental health needs of their employees.
Additional webinars in the series will include:
-
Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2020 – “Liability Issues for Businesses in the Time of COVID-19.”
