California’s Division of Workers’ Compensation to Revise Independent Medical Reviews (IMR), Independent Bill Reviews (IBR) Requests for Proposal By Lonce Lamonte and the DWC Newsline - June 18, 2019
The Department of Industrial Relations’ Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) has removed two requests for proposal (RFPs) that were recently posted online on the department’s website. The RFPs will be revised and corrected before reposting to solicit bids from contractors who will conduct independent medical reviews and independent bill reviews for a three-year period beginning January 1, 2020, on behalf of the division.
Bids that were submitted will need to be resubmitted when the RFPs are reposted online. The deadline for submission will change.
DWC regrets any inconvenience to contractors who have already submitted their proposals. The division will announce when the revised RFPs have been reposted in a future news release to the public. .
