| | West Coast CCC Convention Draws 700 Attendees By John Millrany - April 3, 2001More than 700 business representatives of Workers’ Comp, Property, SIU, Liability, Self-insured, branch managers/claim supervisors, risk managers, investigators, claim adjusters, legal and government attended the 13th annual Combined Claims Conference last month at convention headquarters in Industry, CA.
"We had a very successful turnout, which included 83 exhibitors enjoying two full days or break-out sessions," said Dan Price of Pacific Claims Service, general chairman. "We had attendees from insurance claims companies, third-party administrators (TPA's), vice presidents all the way down to the rank and file, and more and more governmental officials."
Topics ranged from "How Can You Work Safely When You’re Stressed," "Adjuster Safety," "Advances in Document Handling," "Accident Scene Investigation & Reconstruction," "Software Applications" and "Your Professional & Personal Liability as a Claims/Legal Adjuster/Lawyer."
"The convention served as a forum where exhibitors could display their wares in a common opportunity to mesh with each other and exchange information," Price said.
Committee members for the 13th annual CCC convention, in addition to Price, were Allen Halverson, program chairman, Automobile Club of Southern California; Sid Parsley, publicity chairman; William H.
