DWC Posts Adjustments to Official Medical Fee Schedule (Physician Services / Non-Physician Practitioner Services) By CA Department of Industrial Relations - October 21, 2015
The California Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) has posted an order adjusting the Official Medical Fee Schedule (OMFS) to conform to changes in the Medicare payment system as required by Labor Code section 5307.1.
The Physician and Non-Physician Practitioner Fee Schedule Update Order adopts the following Medicare changes:
Medicare National Physician Fee Schedule Relative Value File (RVU file) RVU15D October 2015 quarterly update released October 2, 2015
The CMS Medicare National Physician Fee Schedule Relative Value File that was initially released for the October 2015 quarterly update, and which was adopted by the administrative director’s order of September 16, 2015, has been replaced by CMS with an updated file which was released on October 2, 2015. The order adopting the new Medicare quarterly update is effective for services rendered on or after October 1, 2015 and can be found on the DWC website.
