California Division of Workers' Compensation Posts Adjustments to Official Medical Fee Schedule (DMEPOS)

The California Department of Industrial Relations’ Division of Workers’ Compensation (DWC) is now accepting applications for the Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) examination, scheduled on October 17, 2015. QMEs are independent physicians certified by the DWC Medical Unit to conduct medical evaluations of injured workers. The deadline for filing exam applications is September 10, 2015.

The QME application form is included in the exam packet. Applicants may also contact the Medical Unit to request an application via U.S. mail, email or fax.
