| | Atlas General Has New Workers' Compensation Program In Texas With Partner Republic Group. Claims To Be Handled By Sedgwick.

Atlas General Insurance Services, LLC, based in San Diego, California, has opened a workers' compensation office in Texas.
The program was developed by Atlas General and Republic Group and is also currently available in California, Arizona, Oregon, and Nevada. Atlas General's workers' compensation relationship with Republic Group recently expanded into Arkansas, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Atlas will target small to medium sized accounts in a variety of industries including, among many others, hospitality, healthcare, automobile, service & artisan contractors, and general main street businesses. Policies will be underwritten through Republic Lloyds, rated A- (Excellent) by A.M. Best with a Financial Size Category of IX and accessible only through Atlas General.

Republic Group has been offering their products for over 100 years in Texas, and we, at Atlas, are proud to be partnered with them,” said John Speckman, executive vice president of business development of Atlas General.
Claims services will be provided by Sedgwick CMS.
