Arrowhead General Insurance Agency, Inc., one of the largest program administrators in the country, has appointed Bill Farran as president of its Professional Liability Division.
Farran will be responsible for Arrowhead's Architects and Engineers Professional Liability and Real Estate Agent Errors and Omissions Programs as well as developing a growth strategy to add new niche products throughout the United States.
Farran joins Arrowhead with more than 29 years of industry experience on both the agency and carrier side. Most recently he served as the vice president for the Design Professionals business unit at Navigators Management Company where he created a stable and successful program.
Farran was responsible for developing the policy, underwriting guidelines, marketing collateral and risk management materials while fostering broker and agency relationships. Before Navigators, he served as the practice leader for the Design Professionals and Real Estate Professionals business units at Travelers Bond and Financial Products. He holds the Registered Professional Liability Underwriter designation (RPLU).
Arrowhead's Chief Executive Officer, Chris Walker, said Bill Farran's experience in the Professional Liability field positions him to drive Arrowhead's programs in the right direction. "Bill's experience in these markets and his long standing relationships with our producers align him with the strategies and goals of this division and we look forward to his leadership within this new role," Walker said.
