| | Applicants’ Attorney, Robert Pearman, Literally Tears Up Las Vegas Hotel Suite With Drunken Bacchanalian Revelry. Pearman Arrested, Booked, And Released Pending Court Appearance. By Lonce LaMon - June 6, 2013
Wynn Las Vegas, which operates the Wynn and Encore hotels in Las Vegas which were developed by business magnate Steve Wynn, has filed civil charges against Robert Pearman, a California Workers’ Compensation Applicants’ Attorney, in district court.
After destroying and causing nearly $100,000 worth of damages to a nearly 6,000 square foot, two story, three-bedroom deluxe apartment with amenities not limited to a pool table, whirlpool, and treadmill on March 30th 2013, Pearman was arrested. He was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and released pending a court appearance in Las Vegas Township Court.
Pearman, who lives in Encino, California, was staying in room 2401—which is a luxury apartment—in the Encore hotel. The Encore security called the Metro Police for assistance with what they described as a disruptive guest. When the Metro Police investigated, according to the police report, they found Pearman who “appeared intoxicated given his gait, manner of slurred speech, and prominent odor of alcohol emanating from his person.”
There were also five women in the apartment who all said they had been partying with Pearman. His two law partners, Kim and Carol Pearman, are his father and mother, respectively. The profiles of Kim and Carol are on the www.pearmanlaw.net web site. This speaks volumes that Robert Pearman has not grown up. According to a source, he's never been married and has no kids. (He's the kid, of course.)
The apartment, according to the police, was a disastrous mess. Broken glass was everywhere. Food was on the walls, floors, and drapes. Furniture was knocked over. There was damage to chairs, pillows, six lamps, a book about Michelangelo, a speaker, and a vase. The Encore staff, factoring in every expense including labor, estimated the damage at $96,270.

Robert Pearman took full blame for the mess. “I take full responsibility for what happened here. We were partying,” he said according to the police report. He went on to say more: “I did all of this. I am responsible for all of these people. Let my people go.”
But although he exonerated his consorts, he behaved belligerently with a grandiose attitude toward the Encore staff. He declared that he was an attorney and that he would “depose Steve Wynn and make this place Napalm.” Napalm is a thickening and gelling agent mixed with petroleum and used in incendiary devices.
The Encore staff offered to let Pearman pay for the estimated damage and expressed they would not press charges if he made direct restitution. But he declined. Henceforth, he was arrested, booked, released pending court proceedings, and sued in civil court by Wynn Las Vegas.
If Pearman had been smart, what happened in Vegas could have stayed in Vegas, but that wasn’t his choice. He decided to trash a hotel apartment and not offer up the estimated cost of the repairs for a place that back in 2010 rented for $5,000 a night on week days and $7,500 on the weekends. His profligacy begs the question of how many workers' compensation carriers he may have abused with claimant cases in order to afford such extravagance.
