Farmington Hills, MI - Amerisure Mutual Insurance Company, a leading provider of property and casualty insurance for more than 100 years, announced the appointment of Bill Dennis as Assistant Vice President of Claims.
Mr. Dennis will report to Becky Kenyon, Regional Vice President of Claims for Amerisure. His appointment is effective immediately and he will be based at the Company’s Indianapolis Core Service Center (CSC).
"Bill’s extensive Claims experience, along with his strong technical knowledge and leadership capabilities, will prove to be instrumental in his continued success at Amerisure,” said Kenyon.
In his new role, Mr. Dennis will be responsible for the Indianapolis, Chicago and Minneapolis claim operations. He will also be involved in various claims initiatives, including the implementation of a new claims system, coordination of Amerisure’s response for Medicare and Medicaid services, and oversight of the Company’s online claim kits.
Mr. Dennis, who has been with the Company for 25 years, previously served as Claim Facility Manager of Amerisure’s Indianapolis and St. Louis CSCs. He also has a long history of experience within the claims industry.
Mr. Dennis is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Mo., where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, along with a Master of Business Administration degree from Lindenwood University in St. Louis. Mr. Dennis also holds an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
