Revised Feb. 27th 2012 - Jacqueline Secia, Director of Quality Assurance for York RSG based out of the York Oxnard, California office, has been named to Stanford’s membership of Who’s Who.
A 35-year workers’ compensation claims professional, Jackie is responsible for oversight of claims at York as well as for handling audits, training, workers’ comp in California, and the design and development of specific projects and employment practices.
York is a nationwide provider of customized claims management, managed care, risk management, pool administration, and other insurance services to specialized markets including public entities, programs, carriers, and all types of self-insureds.
Jackie started her career in workers' compensation claims in the 1970s, working as as adjuster at State Compensation Insurance Fund and then becoming a supervisor at Western Employers Insurance Company in 1978 and Fremont Indemnity Company in 1979 until 1986.
Then, she focused on operating as a consulting professional where she highly developed her technical skills and training programs. Her focus for the last 20 years has been on technical expertise and training programs for new and developing workers' compensation adjusters.
In the late 1990s and the year 2000, she worked for law firms. Then, she was Vice President of EOS Claims University and then went back to her full-time consulting work before joining York RSG in 2008.
Jackie holds a B.A. in history from the University of California. She was the recipient of an award for being a contributing seminar panelist for the California Workers’ Compensation Institute.
