| | Long Time City of Santa Ana Risk Manager, Jeff Stevens, Has Died. Memorial Services Planned For Saturday By Lonce LaMon - July 22, 2010Jeff Stevens, the long-time Risk Manager of the City of Santa Ana, who was employed by the City of Santa Ana for 29 years and had just recently retired, died on July 13, 2010 from cancer.
Jeff was a well-respected professional whose passion was Risk Management. He was considered by some to be quite an icon in his field. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, the day after Pearl Harbor was bombed: on December 8, 1941. One of his hobbies was square dancing; he loved cars, and especially his Mustang.
His first job back in the day was at Crawford & Company. He worked for Peterson Publishing Company in Los Angeles before being employed by the City of Santa Ana.
Services will be held on Saturday July 24th, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Saddleback Church in Lake Forest. That church is located at 1 Saddleback Parkway, Lake Forest, California. The phone number is 949-609-8002.
