| | Tristar Insurance Group Makes New TPA Acquisitions By Lonce LaMon - April 13, 2010Rumor has it that Tristar Insurance Group, aka Tristar Risk Management, has just purchased a Third Party Administrator in Iowa, Texas, and Kentucky. These three TPA locations come from two related companies that administer Group Health and Disability claims.
Tristar moved into Group Health, expanding from Workers' Compensation claims administration, four years ago. These new acquisitions do not administer Workers' Compensation claims at this time. They handle Group Health and Disability, including HSA, HRS, 125 plans, dental, vision, and wellness programs.
No official announcement has been made yet. An official Press Release with details on the acquistion should be very soon forthcoming.
Presently, Tristar Risk handles the administration of Workers' Compensation claims in California in locations in Northern and Southern California, including Alhambra, Long Beach, Rancho Santa Margarita, Santa Ana, San Diego, Sacramento and Walnut Creek.
